Logitech announced Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 works with iPads, but it's also compatible with Macs and iPhones and the K760 has Bluetooth for pairing up to three devices at a time, and it features Mac-specific keys such as Brightness, Command and Eject. Users should get about three months of use after the keyboard is fully charged up via sun or indoor light and the spun metal power button and the silver flake paint job lend a premium appearance. Like the earlier K750 and Logitech's just-introduced Solar Keyboard Folio for iPad, you can charge this keyboard in any light whether it be lamp light or sunlight and Logitech says that fully powered the keyboard works for at least three months, even in total darkness (based on average use per day of eight hours). The price tag on the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 is $79.99 and it should start shipping in the next couple of weeks, solar power is something that Logitech does pretty well.

A continuation of Logitech's solar series, which started with the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 and has continued with the Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio for iPad, this new keyboard adds Bluetooth connectivity with an easy-switching capability. It allows you to simultaneously pair multiple devices and quickly switch among them with the push of a button. "Laptops, smartphones and tablets are ubiquitous – both at work and at play," said Denis Pavillard, vice president of experience design at Logitech. New Cheaper MacBook Air 2012, Arrive In Summer Price For $799

Apple is reportedly considering responding to the upcoming second-generation ultrabooks by launching a US$799 MacBook Air in the third quarter of 2012, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
Although Acer has recently reduced its ultrabook shipment target, Intel continues to aggressively push ultrabooks and is aiming to have the devices priced at US$699 in the second half of the year.

However, if Intel is unable to bring down ASPs to its goal, the price gap between ultrabooks and the US$799 MacBook Air may further postpone the time ultrabooks become standardized, the sources noted.
Intel has already set aside a fund of US$300 million for ultrabooks and another US$100 million for developing its own application store.

In addition, with its heavy investment in product promotions, the company believes the investments will help strengthen notebook brand vendors' morale and help increase ultrabook's share in the notebook market.

new macbook air 2012 image
A source in the supply chain has told DigiTimes Apple will release the $799 (£494) MacBook Air in Q3 this year, which translates as sometime between July and September. It's expected to be the company's answer to the current crop of ultrabooks.

Ultrabooks are becoming more common, with second generation models emerging from the likes of Sony, Asus, Acer, and Lenovo. The source says they don't think ultrabooks will really start selling until Windows 8 launches

They didn't give any specs for this budget Air, but I reckon it would pack an 11-inch screen, perhaps with a 32GB SSD. While the $799 price tag converts to £500, I'd expect it to cost more than that. The current MacBook Air starts at £849, or $999 in the US, so I think us Brits would be looking at at least £700. Not exactly cheap for a laptop, but then this is Apple we're talking about.

Apple is expected to redesign the MacBook Pro so it resembles the Air, slimming it down and making it lighter. It may also add a retina display, like on the new iPad, which would be quite some package. It could also be preparing a larger MacBook Air. So expect a killer laptop lineup from Apple this summer.

But maybe Apple's biggest threat will come from Qualcomm. A few weeks ago it announced its smartbooks will be thinner and lighter than anything that's gone before. It promised the devices back in 2009, but only showed off some prototypes.

They'll use Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon S4 chip, and should go on sale in the second half of the year. Google's Chromebooks have gone a little quiet of late, but maybe that's because Google is putting its energies into a tablet.

The Bad Of The New iPad 2012 : Overheating and Charging Problems ?

Many people glorify to The New iPad, many people are increasingly curious about how is the new iPad. So many great people willing to buy an iPad 3 (New iPad). But not everything is perfect. The new iPad you yearning longing is not necessarily satisfactory as ye wish. In addition to these advantages, there must any te bad to be found in an the new iPad. So, before buying an iPad a good idea to know what is the advantages and what is the bad of the new iPad.

For example for the bad of the new iPad, The following comments were taken directly from Apple's iPad discussion boards:
Received my new iPad today and I love the new screen...but right off I noticed that it gets really-really hot.  I have the original iPad and have used it for hours at a time and it has never, ever got hot.  Is this normal?  I don't like it...it makes the iPad hard to use for a long period.
There's some debate as to what is causing the overheating.  If you browse the forums, users are saying it's everything from not using a leather case, to the screen being too awesome, to the processor being more powerful, to the 4G having to use so much power.  The battery has increased from 25W to 50W, so a bigger battery probably produces more heat.
In some cases, the iPad has gotten so hot that an error screen appeared, stating that the iPad needs to cool down before you can use it.
In addition to overheating problems, users have also been complaining about long and slow charge times.
I have had my shiny new iPad plugged in overnight with its included iPad charger. I have just woken up and it's only at 39%!!!
Other people complained that it only charges 1% in 20 minutes, with a lot of customers stating that it's a genuine issue that needs to be addressed immediately.  One of the theories to the charging issues is:
Seems after some serious testing its very clear apple should have (or should now in the future) release a better charger.  One that speeds up times but also crucially allows it to be heavily used while still getting a decent charge.
Maybe it is the charger.  The iPad continues to get more and more powerful — might be time to make a better charger, Apple.  If you're experiencing any of these problems, I recommend taking it to a Apple store so one of their "Geniuses" can help you out.  Don't let them tell you that the overheating is normal; make them give you a solution.

iPhone 5 Screen 4.6 Inch with Retina Display Report Says

Once the issues The New iPad uncovered, now have new issues emerged about the arrival of the iPhone 5. A lot of rumors about iphone 5, and one of the rumors that circulated from a trusted source is about iPhone 5 screen will present bigger screen.

Apple is purportedly already placing orders with suppliers for a 4.6-inch iPhone Retina display, Reuters said today, citing a report in South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper. The phone is due in the second quarter, according to the report.

If accurate, that would be Apple's third device with a Retina display. The others include the just-released 9.7-inch iPad and the 3.5-inch iPhone 4S.

The 960-by-640-pixel Retina display on the iPhone packs in 326 pixels per inch while the new iPad's 2,048-by-1,536-pixel screen squeezes in 264 pixels per inch.

A relatively massive--for a smartphone, that is--4.6-inch glass screen would be a big step for Apple from the 3.5-inch iPhone. A larger phone may also allow Apple to include updated chips such as the A5X. That chip's marquee feature is quad-core graphics.

By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD has a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen.

Apple enthusiast site MacRumors says the likelihood of the rumor being true is low.

"There have been persistent rumors that the next generation iPhone would carry a larger 4-inch screen. And we are convinced that Apple had exactly such designs in late prototype stages in China," said MacRumors.

Indeed, there were reports before the launch of the iPhone 4S that Apple was working on an iPhone with a bigger screen. But those reports predicted a phone measuring 4.2 to 4.3 inches, not a full 4.6 inches.

The New iPad 2012 Video Review

This is the first iPad to offer 4G LTE wireless, and so we were naturally quite eager to load up Speed Test and see what it could do. For those looking for the full-on review effect, the new iPad is still a slinky thing.

Sure, its 9.4mm thickness won't win it any awards (especially since that's .6mm thicker than the iPad 2), nor will its 652g (1.4-pound) heft (51g / .11 pounds more than before), but it feels neither big nor heavy. It instead feels substantial. Dense. It's carved from a hunk of aluminum and there's a cavity in there where the (now bigger) battery and other internals reside, but if you didn't know any better you'd think it were completely solid.

There's none of the flex or the give found in cheaper slates. That solidity certainly helps explain the premium feel, but buyers will have to decide whether that feel is worth the extra space in their messenger bags, or the extra strain placed on shoulder straps. That is, needless to say, quite healthy.

The New iPad 2012 Video Review by The Verge

The New iPad Video Reviw by WT1 :
What's in a name? Or, more importantly, what's in a digit? Would that which we call an iPad by any number less than 2 be less sweet? That's the question Apple posed for us indirectly when it unveiled the new iPad and relegated its future slates (and, presumably, phones) to a numeral-free future. And that new slate? It's much the same as the old one, with a slightly more chipper processor at its (quad) core and support for both Verizon and AT&T's fancy new LTE networks.

But there's one bigger change here, one that will ripple across the industry as each manufacturer struggles to keep up in this ever-accelerating market. That feature is the iPad's new 2048 x 1536 Retina display. It's the best display ever featured on a tablet, probably the best display ever on a mobile device, but is that enough to keep this tablet ahead of the pack? Believe it or not, the answer is yes.

The New iPad 2012 Available Next Week, Pricing for $499

Did you wait too long to pull the trigger on a pre-order for Apple's newest iPad: The New iPad ? Well, it looks like you'll have to join the rest of the US-based iStragglers and settle for a later ship date. The Cupertino-born slate, initially set for a March 16th release, now appears to have been pushed back to the 19th.

Forcing prospective online buyers to seek out any remaining stock at brick and mortar outlets on launch day. While this is by no means an indication that the company's sold out of its third-generation tablet wares, consider it a last call for the early adopter train.

Just three months after the holiday season, Apple is releasing the next version of its popular tablet. The long awaited New iPad will be released March 16 (this coming Friday). Here’s everything you need to know about the device and whether updating your iPad will be worth it.

Clearer Display

Apple is beefing up the iPad’s retina display, which creates clearer fonts and pictures. Apple has the iPad 2 and New iPad laid out side-by-side on their website and the new iPad’s clarity is astounding. The new retina display has a 2048-by-1536 resolution with 3.1 million pixels. By comparison, HDTV has 2.1 million pixels. Overall, the New iPad has four times the amount of pixels the iPad 2 does.

Faster connection

According to Apples’ website, the New iPad uses 4G LTE, one of the fastest cellular networks in the world. The new iPad comes with two cellular antennas, allowing for more connectivity around the world. The new iPad comes with Apple’s latest chip, the A5X, ensuring the device is just as fluid and smooth as other iPads. The New iPad even has the same amount of battery life (10 hours) and comes to life instantly with a single touch.

Users should note however that many cell phone providers have yet to set up a 4G network. Paying extra for faster connectivity features doesn’t necessarily mean they will be utilized from the get go.

Better camera

The new iPad comes with a 5-megapixel camera with more exposure options and better face recognition than previous iPads. Perhaps the biggest upgrade with the camera is HD recording, allowing users to record in full 1080p. The new camera also has a hybrid filter, similar filters used in SLR cameras, allowing for clearer pictures.

Is it worth it?

Apple is asking pricing at $499 for the New iPad. The iPad 2 received a $100 price drop, fetching a $399 price tag through Apple. Despite the numerous improvements, the New iPad hasn’t dazzled everyone.

Online reviewers say that while the new HD features have created the best picture on a tablet so far and the upgraded camera records incredible videos, the overall features of the new iPad aren’t quite enough to ditch the iPad 2 yet. If you haven’t bought an iPad yet, forking over an extra $100 may be worth it. But for current iPad 2 owners or money conscious consumers, sticking with older models may be the best bet.

iPhone 4S and Siri's Voice Integrated on Mercedes-Benz New A-Class

At next month's Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes will show off the next A-Class and with it, its updated COMAND infotainment system. The user interface has undergone a complete overhaul, ditching the black and beige color scheme for a sharp, modern, three-dimensional design and a range of new features and functions, nearly all of which are centered on the iPhone 4S.

More intriguingly, Mercedes is the first automaker to support and integrate Apple's Siri voice-recognition technology, allowing users to make appointments, send text messages and emails, get weather status and access all their songs through voice commands.

While all these features will be limited to the Euro-only A-Class at first, Mercedes says that the iPhone-integrated COMAND Online suite of services will be coming to the B-, C- and E-Class models this fall.

Apple has often been called, for better and sometimes for worse, the luxury automobile of personal computers. Now it seems that metaphor has influenced reality as Mercedes-Benz has announced plans to integrate the iPhone and Siri's voice control functions into its new A-Class vehicle, according to a PSFK report.

    iphone 4s-siri-mercedes-benz-a-class
The Mercedes-Benz new A-Class vehicle will seamlessly merge iPhone 4S functions into the car's in-vehicle display via Daimler's Digital DriveStyle App and COMAND Online multimedia system. While docked in the car, the iPhone 4S will receive an automatic charge and offer access to the device's content as well as social networking applications, including Facebook and Twitter.

The new Digital DriveStyle app allows drivers to stream AUPEO! radio (Europe's equivalent to Pandora), connect with Facebook and Twitter to read out status updates, find your car in a crowded parking lot and get real-time traffic data and point-of-interest searches through a new Garmin navigation system. All of which is available with the entry-level "Audio 20" setup.

But the biggest win here for Apple is the fact that Mercedes-Benz is the first carmaker to offer Siri as a part of its voice control systems. Using Siri, drivers will be able to send SMS text messages and emails while traveling, check location and weather, schedule appointments on-the-go, as well as select from the full menu of music available on their iPhone 4S. This hands-free, mobile control of a device that many consider their primary computer gives us our first real glimpse at what traveling with a virtual assistant feels like.

Final Cut Pro X: How to Download and Install

With Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3, XML 1.1 provides even more detail, to the point that it has enabled a new plugin, 7toX (from Intelligent Assistance), to import projects from Final Cut Pro 7 — addressing a huge concern of the existing user base. Another new workflow capability is support for Apple Xsan storage, with file locking so team members don't trip on each other's work.

Final Cut Pro X: How to download and install
Since the only way to get Final Cut Pro X is through the Mac App Store, installation is easy:
    • You just click "Buy" in the store
    • And the app's icon appears in your Finder, ready to run.
    • You'll be able to install it on five Macs, and you receive updates automatically.
The program requires at least a Core 2 Duo-based Mac running Snow Leopard, a decent video processor, 2.4GB of disk space (so be ready for a possibly lengthy download, depending on your bandwidth), and 2GB RAM (4GB recommended). After installing Final Cut Pro X, be sure to run Apple Update, as there's a Content update for the app that adds sound effects and a ProApps QuickTime Codecs update.

I installed Final Cut on a midrange current iMac, with a 3.1 GHz Core i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, because I wanted to see how responsive the app was on a machine less powerful than the 8-core, top-end machine on which I'd seen a demo. I'll share my performance results after walking you through the new interface and features.

    Final Cut Pro X Price
Download Final Cut Pro X now from the Mac App Store. Final Cut Pro X Price is $299.99.

OWC Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G 480GB SATA 3.0 SSD For MacBook Air Review

Apple's been cramming SSDs into MacBook Air machines for some time now, but Other World Computing believes in pushing the envelope and Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G 480GB SSD offers up to 3x faster performance and 8x more storage capacity for the MacBook Air, and for those who are already running low on local storage, this is a huge boon. Apple’s stock SSDs in current-generation Airs usually stop at around half the maximum speed and OWC gets to the faster speed by using a modern SandForce memory controller, although it doesn’t officially support the TRIM command to optimize the drive, it’s touted as having its own data block management techniques to keep the SSD fast throughout its lifespan. Compatible with current 11.1" and 13.3" MacBook Air models, the Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G 480GB model has a MSRP of $1,149.00 and is available from OWC and all Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G models include 7 percent over provisioning, Toggle Synchronous NAND, and a three-year warranty.
OWC Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G 480GB SATA 3.0 SSD For MacBook

Other World Computing (OWC), a leading zero emissions Mac and PC technology company confirmed at Macworld its OWC Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G SSD is now available in a 480GB model size for the latest Apple MacBook Air 11.1-inch and 13.3-inch models which incorporate 6G (6Gb/s) data rate capabilities. The new Mercury Aura Pro Express 480GB model combines award-winning SandForce technologies and Tier 1/Grade A Toggle Synchronous NAND to deliver data rates up to 3x faster than factory 3G (3Gb/s) options and up to 8x the storage capacity of the factory's base 64GB SSD model. Joining two previously released Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G capacity models-120GB and 240GB-the new 6Gb/s SATA Revision 3.0 480GB model continues OWC's position as the only alternative to factory SSD options for the MacBook Air models. 3G speed Mercury SSDs from OWC are also available in capacities up to 480GB. OWC offers an easy online guide to assist consumers in selecting the correct Mercury Aura Pro Express SSD for any of Apple's MacBook Air models from 2008 to current. The Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G offers the latest MacBook Air owners a cost-effective SSD upgrade path that delivers higher performance, functionality, and reliability over the factory installed SSD. Because the Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G SSD is SATA Revision 3.0 (6Gb/s) compatible, it can take advantage of the MacBook Air's faster processors and built-in 6Gb/s SATA data bus to deliver peak, sustained data rates over 500MB/s, versus the factory installed SSDs, which are limited by SATA Revision 2.0 (3Gb/s) capability.

While ordinary SSDs initially offer fast read/write performance; they experience significant write speed degradation over repeated usage. Independent simulation tests conducted by leading drive performance experts like MacPerformanceGuide confirm OWC Mercury SSD's ultra-efficient Block Management & Wear Leveling technologies are able to eliminate virtually any reduction in data transfer speeds over heavy, long-term usage without dependency on less-than-effective OS TRIM management. "Our initial 120GB and 240GB 6G models were wildly successful as they enabled current model MacBook Air owners to experience the true capabilities of their machine," said Larry O'Connor, Founder and CEO, Other World Computing. "However, we continually received requests to duplicate the 480GB capacity offered in our 3G SSD line for the MacBook Air. Our new 6G 480GB model truly enables owners of 6G capable MacBook Air machines to have the best of both worlds: highest capacity and highest performance versus factory options." Compatible with current 11.1-inch and 13.3-inch MacBook Air models, the Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G 480GB model has a MSRP of $1,149.00 and is available from OWC. All Mercury Aura Pro Express 6G models include 7 percent over provisioning, Toggle Synchronous NAND, and a three-year warranty. iPad 3 Newest Rumors: Double Model and Battery Boost

Most experts are speculating about the possible characteristics, features, and specifications of new iPad 3 by basing it on the previous iPad generation, the iPad2. Let us take a look at The Advantages of Apple iPad 3 in several iPad 3 rumors that have been revolving around iPad review websites.

Today iPad 3 Newest Rumors which re-emerged into the headlines a few well-known websites. Here are some specs of new iPad 3 and its release schedule, according to some websites. All of which favor the advantages that exist on the iPad 3.

According to the Bostinno.com here is iPad 3 Newest Rumors :

    Two iPads in January?
Don’t bet on it, says GigaOM. While the release date for the next-generation iPads is probably sometime in Q1 of 2012, January is a bit early for two models to hit the market, and a February release sounds like a more realistic plan. Even if Apple does unveil the iPad 3 in January, it probably won’t be widely available in stores for another month or two after that.

The iPad 3 will have a Retina Display, LED Bars and New Processor
It’s been talked about for quite a while, and DigiTimes confirms earlier reports that, yes, Apple will have a retina display (2,048 x 1,536) on each new iPad model. The units will also be equipped with dual-LED light bars that allow for better lighting, and will also come with an upgraded quad-core A6 processor.

iPad 3 Double the Battery Life

It looks like the iPad 3 may have a battery whose life is quite a bit longer than the battery in the iPad 2. High-capacity batteries are planned for the iPad 3, which could make the battery last as much as twice as long as the most recent model.

    What’s the Difference iPad 3 Models ?

The only difference between the two models, according to the DigiTimes report, is in the camera – the high-end iPad 3 will have an 8 megapixel camera, while the mid-range model will only have a 5-MP lens. Is this a big deal? Not really, says Gigaom.

    iPad 2 Price to Drop

With the iPad 3 on its way, the price of the iPad 2 – right now selling for $499 – could drop by as much as a couple-hundred dollars, making the tablet affordable for pretty much everyone and likely boosting sales as Apple tries to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire.

    iPad 3 New Specifications

According to Webpronews.com, here the new specifications iPad 3
    • the iPad 3 may be getting a major battery boost;
    • there may be (though I doubt it) two iPad 3 models being prepped for launch;
    • Apple may be (but probably isn’t) preparing for a January 2012 announcement of the iPad 3, possibly (though not probably) at MacWorld.

    Apple iPad 3 Release Date

Apple to unveil next iPad (iPad 3) in January 2012
Apple to unveil next iPad (iPad 3) in January 2012, this statement, according to the USAtoday.com, Another week, another fresh set of rumors about Apple's next rendition of the iPad.

The latest wave stems from Digitimes once again, who claim Apple is expected to unveil two versions of its next iPad in late January.

Perhaps the most important detail is Digitimes has backed off an earlier report that Apple was planning to launch a "mini" iPad with a 7.85-inch screen.

According to the latest Digitimes details, it appears Apple will release two new iPad models and price the iPad 2 to compete with Amazon's red-hot Kindle Fire tablet.

The Advantages of Apple iPad 3

Most tech-addicts are anticipating the release of every new Apple product including the iPad 3. Even before the release of this product, there are already several rumors posted online. Some of these rumors are possibly true, while others are not.

Most experts are speculating about the possible characteristics, features, and specifications of this gadget by basing it on the previous iPad generation, the iPad2. Let us take a look at The Advantages of Apple iPad 3 in several iPad 3 rumors that have been revolving around iPad review websites.

    iPad 2 Picture

The Advantages of Apple iPad 3 Specs

A retina display was widely predicted for the iPad 2, but of course the current iPad doesn't have a double-resolution display: for now, that's something you'll only get in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Could an iPad 3 Retina Display be on the way? It's the very first thing on our iPad 3 wish list.

The exciting news is that it looks as though it is happening, with Apple reportedly testing suppliers' current shipments of 2048 x 1536 resolution 9.7-inch displays. However, rumours continued over the summer and autumn of 2011 that the retina display in the iPad 3 was continuing to be a challenge.

Back in May 2011, we reported that the iPad 3 could launch with a Samsung-made AMOLED screen, following rumours that Apple has been in talks on the matter with Samsung execs. There have also been more LG and Samsung rumours, too.

However, according to the Wall Street Journal in late November 2011, Sharp will manufacture panels for the device. Apparently Apple is investing in infrastructure at Sharp's LCD plant. Further rumourssaid that Apple is looking to implement some nifty dual LED lightbar technology into the iPad 3, apparently in a bid to counter-balance the brightness issue that the Apple tablet may have, due to its super-high pixel density.

A part leak in early December again pointed to a Sharp-manufactured 2048x1536 retina display and dual lightbar.

    • Will the iPad 3 have a smaller dock connector?
Parts previewed on some websites indicate that, although the iPad 3 will still have a 30 pin dock connector, the packaging is streamlined. Well, if this is true, we knew it would happen sooner or later.

    • The iPad 3 hardware could include an NFC chip
Apple's very interested in Near Field Communications, and one particularly tasty rumour at Cult of Mac suggests that the iPhone 5 will use NFC to take over nearby Macs, enabling you to use your data and settings with a flick of the wrist.

    • The iPad 3 specifications will include more storage
The iPad 2 has the familiar 16/32/64GB storage options, but as flash storage comes down in price, a 128GB option for the iPad 3 isn't impossible - although that might depend on the situation in Asia, where natural disasters have caused chaos in parts of the electronics industry this year.

    • The iPad 3 features could include a Thunderbolt port
Two generations of USB-free iPads suggest that Apple just isn't interested in adding one, but the new Thunderbolt port found in the 2011 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air could be another story: it's a combined accessory/display connector with astonishingly fast performance.

    • iPad 3 to be a 4G LTE unit?
Cnet.com believes that the new iPad may feature a Qualcomm 4G LTE Gobi 4000 chip for next-gen connectivity.

    • There could be more than one iPad 3

TUAW says the iOS 5 code features new code files for USB devices in the iOS 5 firmware, Through this, TUAW found references to an iPad 3,1 and an iPad 3,2.

    • The iPad 3 could be thicker
The iPad 3 might be bulking out, reportedly so it can house a higher-resolution display than the iPad 2, and the extra girth is all down to pixel density.

    • The iPad 3 could be made by someone other than Foxconn
Apple was said to be in talks with another Far Eastern manufacturer as the release of the iPad 3 nears. Digitimes says that as there was a fire at usual supplier Foxconn in May, Quanta Computer and Pegatron Technology could benefit.

On 1 August it was reported that a contract had definitely gone to Pegatron rather than Foxconn.

    • The iPad 3 specs might include an SD card slot
This was widely predicted for the iPad 2 and, like the Retina Display, didn't materialise. One for version 3, perhaps? Using a separate adapter to read camera cards is rather inelegant and clunky.

    • The iPad 3 specification should include a better camera
The rear-facing camera on the iPad 2 isn't brilliant: an iPhone 4S-style camera and flash would do nicely.
The Advantages of Apple iPad 3 in: The iPad 3 might use gesture controls

Could the iPad 3 have Kinect-style gesture controls? We're not so sure, but rumours suggested so in late October 2011.

    • The iPad 3 could feature a carbon fibre case
Apple has hired a carbon fibre expert, senior composites engineer Kevin Kenney, fuelling speculation that the next iPad could be encased in the lightweight material.

Why Ipad favored by many people?

Why Ipad favored by many people? This the reasons Why Ipad favored by many people?.
Apple says it sold about 25 million iPads in the first nine months of this year. Above, a shopper tests out the tablet computer at an Apple store in New York (AFP).

I have tried — really tried — to fall in love with the iPad.

I've spent hours trying it out. Reading, browsing, gaming. Watching movies. I've trawled Apple's website for killer apps. Conferred with the blue-shirted geniuses at my local Apple store about the wonders of the tablet-enabled lifestyle.

I've checked out the favorite apps of my iPad-equipped friends, and tried to conjure every way I might use the iPad for health, happiness and profit

    But it's not happening.

There's no point pretending that there aren't millions of people who do, in fact, love the iPad. They can't all be self-deluding, so we can stipulate that for many, many people it's a marvelous device. Apple says it sold about 25 million units in the first nine months of this year. Throw in sales of wannabe iPads such as Amazon's Kindle Fire and Samsung's Galaxy Tab, and it sometimes seems as though pretty soon every atom in the universe will own its own tablet computer.

But if you're one of the millions who woke up this Christmas morning feeling guilty that you didn't spring for an iPad for your family, or got one and can't figure out what all the excitement's about, or think the whole tablet computing craze is another case of consumers being goaded by slick advertising into buying something they don't need, don't be ashamed. If you can't tell what the pad is good for, you don't need it. I'm on your side.

Let's be clear that I'm not taking an anti-Apple position. On the contrary, I'm devoted to my Apple MacBook Air, which is the best computer I've ever owned. And I've sampled and spurned non-Apple tablets such as the Galaxy Tab and Kindle Fire.

I don't "hate the iPad," like the sizable cadre of bloggers given to proclaiming their distaste online. I'm merely indifferent to its supposed virtues, as I am to many other cultural phenomena I'm expected to find fascinating, like Ryan Seacrest and Pippa Middleton.

My biggest issues with the iPad fall into three categories: its poor screen resolution, its lack of a decent input mechanism and Apple's totalitarian approach to its App Store. We'll take them in order.

The iPad screen may be adequate for video or animated games, but it's nowhere near sharp enough for comfortable extended viewing of anything involving the printed word: books, magazines, websites. That's especially true at the less-than-arm's-length viewing distance for which the iPad is designed. My black-and-white Kindle e-reader may be worthless for Web browsing, but the sharpness of its print display leaves the iPad in the dust and its passive non-backlit screen is much easier on the eyes.

The absence of a keyboard as a creative and communication tool is the tablet device's most striking feature, and, for me, its disabling drawback. Tablet fans contend that its touch screen interface is a great advance in interactive technology. Sorry, I'm not buying. The on-screen virtual keyboard is no substitute for the tactile feedback of a real keyboard; it seems purposely designed to discourage writing anything but the most rudimentary grunts. If you need a device the creative empowerment of which begins and ends with the typing of tweets, here you are. I happen to require something more. But that's me.

Although iPad users can surf the Web using its built-in Safari browser, plainly its stand-alone apps are the focus of the user experience. Apple brags that some 500,000 apps by third-party software developers, including about 140,000 specifically written for the iPad, are available from its App Store. But none can be marketed without the say-so of Apple, which keeps 30% of the purchase price.

This is a disquieting approach. For one thing, it relentlessly drives up the ownership cost of the iPad. For example, I'm about to embark on a project for which a lot of the source material will be digital documents known as pdf files: articles from technical journals, newsletters, book chapters, etc. I was excited to think that the iPad might be convenient for reading and annotating these files, and assumed that it came with a free program for doing so, akin to the excellent Preview program embedded in my MacBook's operating system. No such luck: I'd have to buy a separate app, for $9.99. That may not seem like a lot of money, but if you're already spending more than $500 for a high-tech device, why should you have to keep paying to personalize it, at 10 bucks a pop?

Apple superintends the App Store like a blue-nosed corporate Mrs. Grundy, regularly ejecting apps that displease it. This process sometimes seems virtuous, as when the offending app is violent or anti-Semitic or could be used to promote child pornography.

But what about when Apple's decisions seem motivated by political pressure, as when Apple removed an app that pointed users toward WikiLeaks? Or by narrow commercial considerations, as when it mandated changes in e-book apps from Amazon and other vendors so that it would get a fee whenever a user bought a book directly via the app? What are the limits of Apple's corporate intrusiveness into my decision about how to use my iPad? No one can be sure, because Apple reserves the right to make and change the rules at will.

Take away the ability to interact with the iPad creatively and the freedom to use it as you wish, and you're left with what iPad aficionados tout as the finest device ever made for consuming entertainment content. This is a cramped vision of an object's utility, a bit like calling a luxury BMW the best device ever for consuming premium gasoline. But it is revealing, for it clarifies that the real beneficiary of the iPad revolution is Apple, for which the device is a siphon into its owner's wallet via the sale of videos, movies, music, apps, magazine subscriptions, etc., etc., etc., etc.

Maybe I'm just missing the indispensability of tablets. I am reminded of the question that the late cultural anthropologist Neil Postman used to ask of every new technology: "What is the problem to which this is the solution?" At this moment, I don't seem to have any problems to which the tablet is the solution. If my lifestyle were one for which people have told me the iPad is a boon — if I commuted to work every day by train or bus or boarded cross-country flights more than a few times a year, say — perhaps my answer would be different.

It's also conceivable that technological improvements will resolve some of my misgivings. Rumors already are swirling that the iPad 3, which could be out early next year, will boast a super-sharp "Retina" display. Yet Apple rumors always require a grain of salt. The current forecasts are that the new iPad will be either thinner or thicker than the iPad 2; have the Retina display or the same old display; cost more than the current version or be the same price. (No one predicts it will be cheaper.)

If you've survived this long without jumping into the iPad pond, you certainly haven't wasted any money. The one safe prediction that can be made is that before long people will look back at today's crop of tablets, shake their heads in dismay and say, "You mean to tell me you paid 500 bucks for that?"

Maybe these is the reasons Why Ipad favored by many people.

How To Fix iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors

Apple recently seeded a second revision of its iOS 5.0.1 firmware, and besides decrypting key files that aid in the legality of a Siri port, the update seemed to bring nothing new to the table. Some speculated that the second update had something to do with Apple’s continued international rollout of the iPhone 4S.

    iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors
It turns out that the new iOS 5.0.1 (Build 9A406) is meant to fix SIM-related errors that a limited number of iPhone 4S customers have been experiencing.
    iPhone 4S pictures
    iPhone 4S pictures/Apple.com

According to an Apple support document, revision 2 of iOS 5.0.1 seems to have been intended to fix ‘No SIM Card Installed’ errors that have been affecting a small number of 4S owners.

In certain situations, iPhone 4S may have difficulty recognizing a micro-SIM card, resulting in the following behaviors:
    - “Invalid SIM” or “No SIM Card installed” alert appears intermittently.
    - Status bar displays “No Service” or “Searching” in a location with good network coverage.
How To Fix iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors
To fix these issues, Apple recommends backing up your 4S and re-installing the latest version of iOS 5, which is the recently-updated 5.0.1 build. MacRumors notes that there’s been mixed feedback on whether the update actually fixes SIM-related errors or not, with some still getting ‘Invalid SIM’ errors.

Instead of pushing out a 5.0.2 update for everyone, this type of issue would explain why Apple chose to simple substitute a new build of 5.0.1 for the users that needed it. Existing 5.0.1 users don’t need to update, but any user that does try to download the newest version of iOS 5 from iTunes will receive the new 9A406 build. Apple has iOS 5.1 in developer testing.

Have you experienced a similar SIM error on your iPhone 4S? Did installing the new iOS 5.0.1 build help? Please Install the new iOS 5.0.1 To Fix iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors. So do not worry about the price have you paid to buy yours iPhone 4s .

Specs and Speed of the apple's a5 iphone chip

    About apple's a5 iphone chip
Leading up to this Friday's launch of the iPhone 4S, AppleInsider will offer a closer look at some of the features of the next-generation handset. Given that the 'S' in the device's moniker was never officially defined by Apple, we offer five potential definitions. Today: 'S' is for Speed, thanks to the Apple A5 processor.

Apple's A5 chip, which powers the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, is now being produced in a Texas factory owned by Samsung, Reuters reports, citing sources familiar with the operation.

Until now, Apple has mainly relied on Korean and Chinese manufacturers that produced the chips for Apple's products on their soil.

Samsung's new $3.6 billion plant in Austin is the size of nine football fields (1.6 million square feet), and it's almost solely dedicated to producing Apple chips.
    Apple's a5 chip
Speed of the apple's a5 iphone chip
Speed of the apple's a5 iphone chip with The 45 nm Apple A5 chip runs on either 800 MHz or 1 GHz clock speed, and it's twice as powerful -- according to Apple -- as its predecessor, the A4.
    • The Apple A5 chip is a dual-core chip that allows CPU speeds up to twice as fast as the iPhone 4
    • It also features dual-core graphics processing that is up to seven times faster
    • The iPhone 4S has increased battery life up to 8 hours.
    • A new wireless system in the iPhone 4S allows the handset to intelligently switch between two antennas to send and receive data, improving call quality.
    • With its new system, Apple says the iPhone 4S achieves maximum theoretical download speeds of 14.4Mbps.
    • Apple said these speeds are competitive with current 4G networks.
    • The iPhone 4S also sports an 8-megapixel sensor for improved picture taking.
    • A new illuminated sensor gets 73 percent more light than the one found in the iPhone 4, and does it a third faster.
    • A high-end IR filter allows for greater accuracy and uniformity, while the handset also offers industry-leading quickness in snapping a photo.
    • The new camera will also shoot full-high-definition 1080p video, and will feature real-time video image stabilization and temporal noise reduction.
    • In one demo, Apple exec Scott Forstall asked the iPhone 4S to find a Greek restaurant in Palo Alto, Calif. The built-in Siri software returned a list of five restaurants sorted by rating.
    • Siri can also read information to users. In one example, the software read a list of notifications from the iPhone 4S.
    • The Siri system can also be utilized to make calendar appointments. It will even check if a user's schedule is free when setting up an appointment, and notify them of potential conflicts.
    • Information from Wikipedia and Wolfram Alpha can also be accessed through voice commands in Siri.
    • In another demonstration, Forstall asked Siri how long until Christmas. The "personal assistant" software responded: "82 days."
    • Siri also does dictation, as a microphone icon will appear anytime there is a keyboard on the screen. By tapping the microphone, users can speak rather than type.
    • Siri will come with built-in support for English, French and German. The software will be beta at launch, with more languages and services to be added over time.
