What is NFC ? NFC Features and Benefit

About NFC

Near Field Communication (NFC) technology makes life easier and more convenient for consumers around the world by making it simpler to make transactions, exchange digital content, and connect electronic devices with a touch.

Near field communication (NFC) is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication with each other by touching them together or bringing them into close proximity, usually no more than a few centimetres.

Present and anticipated applications include contactless transactions, data exchange, and simplified setup of more complex communications such as Wi-Fi. Communication is also possible between an NFC device and an unpowered NFC chip

NFC Features and Benefit

nfc logoNFC provides a range of benefits to consumers and businesses, such as:
  • Intuitive: NFC interactions require no more than a simple touch
  • Versatile: NFC is ideally suited to the broadest range of industries, environments, and uses
  • Open and standards-based: The underlying layers of NFC technology follow universally implemented ISO, ECMA, and ETSI standards
  • Technology-enabling: NFC facilitates fast and simple setup of wireless technologies, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.)
  • Inherently secure: NFC transmissions are short range (from a touch to a few centimeters)
  • Interoperable: NFC works with existing contactless card technologies
  • Security-ready: NFC has built-in capabilities to support secure applications

A standards-based connectivity technology, NFC harmonizes today's diverse contactless technologies, enabling current and future solutions in areas such as:

  • Access control
  • Consumer electronics
  • Healthcare
  • Information collection and exchange
  • Loyalty and coupons
  • Payments
  • Transport

Android Ice Cream Sandwich Not Popular, Android Jelly Bean Released Soon

The low use of the newest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) in the smartphone and tablet device seems to make Google move fast to soon release the next version of Android.

Google is rumored to be launching Android 5.0, named "Jelly Bean" in the second quarter of 2012 or sometime in June.

As reported by Digitimes that gets information from a distributor based in Taiwan, the launch of the "Jelly Bean" caused by the absorption of Ice Cream Sandwich has failed to meet original expectations.

Until February 2012, Ice Cream Sandwich is used only about one percent of the existing phones and tablets.

One of the new phones that use the Ice Cream Sandwich is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, at the end of last year.

Although, several months ahead Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to be widely used by other Android devices, especially when some mobile vendors release new devices at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona later this month.

Based on Google's update schedule, it's within reason to expect Android 5.0 Jelly Bean to hit within the next year -- but which popular confection will bear the honor or representing the latest OS flavor? There's been little doubt that the jelly bean will fill that role, and now ASUS has confirmed to TechRadar not only that delectable moniker -- Jelly Bean -- but also that the company will likely be among the first to get the new OS.

That claim came from VP Benson Lin, who said "Asus is very close to Google, so once they have Android 5.0 I think there will be a high possibility that we will be the first wave to offer the Jelly Bean update."

The iPad has a ton of apps but Photoshop and more importantly Microsoft Office are two of the critical suites that most computer users depend on and use. What is LTE ? The Advantage Of LTE ?

Know What is LTE, LTE stands for Long Term Evolution. Its full name is 3GPP Long Term Evolution for the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System, or 3GPP UMTS LTE for short. Most refer to the standard as UMTS LTE or just plain LTE. While UMTS LTE is the more correct name, it will be called LTE for the remainder of this article for brevity.

Verizon Wireless says consumers will benefit with the implementation of Long Term Evolution in terms of innovative applications developed for healthcare, telematics, cloud-computing, entertainment, utilities, security, education and the machine-to-machine world. That might well happen.

    The Advantage Of LTE ?
The Advantage Of LTE, LTE is a very good, easily deployable network technology, offering high speeds and low latencies over long distances. For example, Verizon LTE in Dallas, TX was rated with an average download speed of 15.75Mbps and an average upload speed of 1.49Mbps.

Verizon’s 3G service was rated with an average download speed of 1.09Mbps and an average upload speed of 0.67Mbps. Its LTE service beat its competitors’ high speed service by a wide margin. Similar ratings followed in other cities as well.

Unfortunately, AT&T’s LTE service is too new to take accurate measurements of. When the AT&T LTE network is more loaded with subscribers, then more accurate readings can be taken.

Security and roaming also should be easier, eventually, as more networks will use LTE than used GSM. Also, LTE should support machine-to-machine apps better, though that is not something a phone user will know about.

LTE will offer a technically-better platform, no doubt. How long it will take for LTE networks to offer something other than faster speeds, lower latency and better in-building coverage remains to be seen.

Samsung Galaxy S II Skype Video Calling

Samsung Galaxy s II Skype Video Calling, Video calling finally works on the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, one of the many Galaxy S II variants for the US market. The update comes out more than five months after the original launch of the phone back in September.

The addition of the (deep breath) Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch to the list of supported devices for video calling is the only major addition in this version of Skype.

Free Skype Video Calling is one of the best apps for Samsung Galaxy S II

Samsung Galaxy s II Skype Video Calling Feature
In order for a phone to use Skype’s video chat feature, it has to have a front-facing camera, and that hasn’t been a standard feature for all that long. But in addition, the camera needs to support the same basic APIs that Skype uses – and sometimes custom manufacturer software can interfere with this.

Second-generation HTC and Samsung phones were especially bad about Bluetooth compatibility, apparently due to the software used in their custom user interfaces.

You can download the Skype update from the Android Market now. Stock users of the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch may be in for a nice surprise soon – some official literature posted on the carrier’s forum indicates that they’re planning an upgrade to Android 4.0.3.

If it comes as soon as it seems to be, the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch may be the first US version of the Galaxy S II to get Ice Cream Sandwich. Sadly, a software update can’t do anything about that name.

The Best Applications For Samsung Galaxy S II

Actually there are more Best Application For Samsung Galaxy S II / Samsung Galaxy S2 that have been incorporated into samsung samsung galaxy S II.  If you want to add other applications for yours samsung galaxy S II, Here I suggest the best application for samsung galaxy S II. Some of these applications have I tried at my samsung galaxy S II. The Best Application For Samsung Galaxy S II, I have tried, they are :

    1.Opera Mini Browser

Opera's fastest mobile browser that can save you money on data. Totally free.
A web browser for mobile devices offering fast speed, Opera Mini uses Opera's servers to compress webpages so they load faster. You also save money on data charges, since it uses as little as a tenth of the data of normal browsers.

Facebook, Google, Yahoo!—with Opera Mini, all your favorite sites load faster than you've ever seen on your phone.

Download and instal Opera Browser for your galaxy S II here : Download Opera Mini

    2. Facebook For Android

Facebook for Android is lacking in features compared to Facebook itself, but a recent update added Inbox support to the Android app, finally allowing its users to communicate in almost real time. The app's fast and stable, with a simplicity that reminds you of the old days when using Facebook used to be bearable.

    3. Winamp
Yes, the same Winamp from a decade ago. It's had an Android app for some time, with recent updates adding support for iTunes, Mac syncing, plenty of music streaming options, new release lists and Shoutcast integration for radio support. It's a fine, free media player.

    Download here

    4. Samsung ChatOn
There are plenty of messaging tools on Android, but Samsung's beats many of them by offering multi-platform support - with clients even available for older Samsung non-smart feature phones. It could be the ideal way to keep in touch with an out of touch relative. More "with it" users will be able to use its drawing, image sharing and social networking features.
Maybe this has included in your Galaxy S II. If not yet download here

    5. RAC Traffic
An official production of the motoring organisation, RAC Traffic is dead simple - it guesstimates your location via the mobile signal, then pops up the current traffic alerts for your area. It's much better than having to listen to the radio for the odd update about arterial blockages.

    6. Evernote

After the Android version of Dropbox, the next best solution for keeping all your 'business' in one place is Evernote - which lets you stash and sync all your text notes, voice memos and files on your phone and access them through a desktop computer.

    7. Google Maps Navigation
An absolute must-get. As long as you have Android 1.6 or above, the latest update to Google Maps introduces turn-by-turn voice navigation, simultaneously devastating the satnav industry while boosting the in-car dashboard dock/charger accessory scene. Route calculations are done at the outset of your trip, minimising data transfer en route and keeping you on target even when the GPS signal drops. It's amazing, it works, and it's free.

    8. Skype Video Calling
Samsung Galaxy s II Skype Video Calling, Video calling finally works on the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, one of the many Galaxy S II variants for the US market. The update comes out more than five months after the original launch of the phone back in September.

Final Cut Pro X: How to Download and Install

With Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3, XML 1.1 provides even more detail, to the point that it has enabled a new plugin, 7toX (from Intelligent Assistance), to import projects from Final Cut Pro 7 — addressing a huge concern of the existing user base. Another new workflow capability is support for Apple Xsan storage, with file locking so team members don't trip on each other's work.

Final Cut Pro X: How to download and install
Since the only way to get Final Cut Pro X is through the Mac App Store, installation is easy:
    • You just click "Buy" in the store
    • And the app's icon appears in your Finder, ready to run.
    • You'll be able to install it on five Macs, and you receive updates automatically.
The program requires at least a Core 2 Duo-based Mac running Snow Leopard, a decent video processor, 2.4GB of disk space (so be ready for a possibly lengthy download, depending on your bandwidth), and 2GB RAM (4GB recommended). After installing Final Cut Pro X, be sure to run Apple Update, as there's a Content update for the app that adds sound effects and a ProApps QuickTime Codecs update.

I installed Final Cut on a midrange current iMac, with a 3.1 GHz Core i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, because I wanted to see how responsive the app was on a machine less powerful than the 8-core, top-end machine on which I'd seen a demo. I'll share my performance results after walking you through the new interface and features.

    Final Cut Pro X Price
Download Final Cut Pro X now from the Mac App Store. Final Cut Pro X Price is $299.99.

How to get Untethered Jailbrek Software Update

It's just a few weeks since pod2g revealed his untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 and -- boom -- all of a sudden it's up for the DL. The exploit has been incorporated into redsn0w 0.9.10, the Pwnage Tool and Chronic Devteam's Cydia package, and it works on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (including the CDMA version), iPad 1, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G, so long as they've been updated to iOS 5.0.1.

Meanwhile, pod2g is reportedly now looking for a way to snap the shackles on A5-based devices too, but hopefully only after he's taken some rest -- a burned-out jailbreaker is no good to anybody.

A few days ago, @pod2g gave the untether to both the iPhone devteam and the chronic devteam. @pod2g have put it into redsn0w 0.9.10 and PwnageTool, and the chronic devteam put it into a Cydia package (the same set of exploits is in all three).

Here are the basic steps How to get Untethered Jailbrek Software Update :
    • The untether is for iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPhone4-CDMA, iPad1, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G
    • If you have one of those devices and are not on 5.0.1 yet, update now! The SHSH window is still open for 5.0.1 If you unlock via ultrasn0w or gevey, make sure you only get to 5.0.1 via a custom IPSW! See the guides at places like iClarified.com if you don’t know how. Once you’re at 5.0.1, use the latest redsn0w 0.9.10 to both jailbreak and untether.
    • If you’re already at 5.0.1 with a tethered jailbreak, you have two choices: either run redsn0w 0.9.10 over your current jailbreak (deselect “Install Cydia” if you do that), or install the Cydia package prepared by the chronic devteam. The patches are the same regardless of which you choose.
    • Some of you are using a hybrid 5.0/5.0.1 configuration. If so, do not attempt to install this untether over that setup! You will most likely get into a reboot cycle. Do a sync and fresh restore to 5.0.1 then install the jailbreak + untether.
As mentioned earlier, @pod2g has spent months working on all the exploits and tricks in this untether, and many of you may be wondering how you can send donations. Although the iPhone devteam itself doesn’t take donations, we thought it was appropriate to provide a link at the end of the redsn0w run for you to more easily donate directly to @pod2g if you wish.

    Xbox 720 Features

Their next generation user interface has come to Xbox 720 Features and it changes everything - but unless you're paying attention it could be years before you notice.

"First, we had the blades," says Microsoft's Live Growth Exec Robin Burrowes, "and it was great. But as more and more content was added to the Marketplace it got harder and harder to find what you wanted.
Then in 2008 we moved to what we called the 'New Xbox 720 Features Experience' which - in theory - made things easier to discover. But now we're expanding our content beyond gaming into entertainment services - services we're only beginning to realise in the UK. We're building this new dashboard to future proof for the next few years of Live services." "Future proof" is the point.

When the next generation rolls around it will be powered by a Metro-styled UI, just like 2012's Windows 8 and every mobile phone Microsoft make with HTC and Nokia. The first principles of Microsoft's new UI were introduced back in 2006 in the Zune media player, just one year after the release of 360.

The first generation of Zunes used large, bold, screen-filling text in a clean and modern font. Elements of the new design gradually trickled down into other Microsoft products - most notably, MSN Messenger - before getting the Metro name and becoming its own "design language" for Windows Phone 7 with the same "live tiles" you're using in your new Xbox 720 Features dashboard. In the original design book for Windows Phone 7, Metro's designers define Metro by saying:

"We think content should be elevated, and everything else should be minimised. Content is UI and users should be able to interact directly. Simple as that." It took them an entire book to make their point, but it's this one idea that made Metro perfect for 360
    xbox 70 features

"I think it's about the ease of finding a greater breadth of content quicker," says Burrowes, "that's been it for us. The content within the Live Marketplace and the content available On Demand is fairly limitless. With the new interface the most important channels and slots can bubble to the top, but if you want to... discover, we're making that easy, too."

In its transition to 360 the Metro interface has dropped touch controls in favour of full Kinect support - voice and gestures can operate every page of the new interface without switching to a separate Kinect mode. It's an obvious move.

The next Xbox 720 Features - we'll call it Xbox 720 Features 720 for lack of a better name - will come bundled with Kinect and be sold on day one as a console for the hardcore and a media device that can power your entire life. The next version of Kinect - certainly smaller and better than the current model, running with the processing grunt to let it track multiple users right down to their fingers - will be at the very centre of the next console, as will some version of the Metro UI.
The new interface is built to turn 360 into a media hub and the next console is unlikely to be anything but a sleek black box through which everything on your telly flows. Like existing home theatre PCs, it'll connect to your Sky+ or Tivo box, stream video from the internet, and support every On Demand service Microsoft can sign contracts on.

On Demand video is a front-and-centre feature for the new dashboard, with UFC and ESPN already up and running in the US, and the BBC and Channel 4 over here. Offering YouTube and free OD TV is how Microsoft will snare new buyers, but their Zune On Demand service - another in-your-face feature - is how they'll make money from them and steal control of the living room from Apple and Sony.

The new Metro dashboard makes one thing very clear - Microsoft still want you to buy stuff, and if you're not buying stuff then you'd better be prepared to watch advertisements for stuff you don't want to buy.
The Xbox 720 Features could have been given a fully-customisable dashboard long ago if Microsoft wanted it, but both the NXE and Metro dashboards thrust paid advertising and promotions in your face and that's only set to continue on 720.

Microsoft also know that day one console buyers are the hardest of hardcore, which is why the Metro dashboard is already designed for core players - even if it's still hamstrung by the original Xbox 720 Features's Friends List.

The 360 had to support original Xbox 720 Features games on Live so the Friends List stayed capped at 100, but those Live servers closed in 2010 and yet the cap still remains. Microsoft seem attached to the 100-name limit, but with Facebook and Twitter right there on the front page don't be surprised when the next Xbox 720 Features ties your Facebook login, Gamertag, and Twitter account together. When that happens, the 100-name limit has to go.

For now, says Burrowes, the Xbox 720 Features's Metro-styled dashboard is as good as a user interface can be. "We've learned a lot from the Windows phone services in terms of user's ability to discover content through the hubs. That's something that we're bringing into the console, and yes we expect this version of the dash to be like this for a while."
For a while, sure, but the Xbox 720 Features is always evolving and always changing to meet the needs of an unpredictable future. When the Kinect-powered Holodesk and Omnitouch prototypes evolve you'll see an interface which can spring from the TV - an Augmented Reality HUD in a pair of 3D specs and virtual controls laid out on your coffee table.

This isn't ten years away. The technology exists today. And when it arrives, the Xbox 720 Features will adapt - again.

If you want to add other applications for yours samsung galaxy note, Here I suggest the best application for samsung galaxy note. Some of these applications have I tried at my samsung galaxy note. The Best Application For Samsung Galaxy Note I have tried, they are :
    1. Opera Mini Browser

Download and instal Opera Browser for your galacy note here : Download Opera Mini

Maybe this has included in your Galaxy Note.

How To Fix iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors

Apple recently seeded a second revision of its iOS 5.0.1 firmware, and besides decrypting key files that aid in the legality of a Siri port, the update seemed to bring nothing new to the table. Some speculated that the second update had something to do with Apple’s continued international rollout of the iPhone 4S.

    iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors
It turns out that the new iOS 5.0.1 (Build 9A406) is meant to fix SIM-related errors that a limited number of iPhone 4S customers have been experiencing.
    iPhone 4S pictures
    iPhone 4S pictures/Apple.com

According to an Apple support document, revision 2 of iOS 5.0.1 seems to have been intended to fix ‘No SIM Card Installed’ errors that have been affecting a small number of 4S owners.

In certain situations, iPhone 4S may have difficulty recognizing a micro-SIM card, resulting in the following behaviors:
    - “Invalid SIM” or “No SIM Card installed” alert appears intermittently.
    - Status bar displays “No Service” or “Searching” in a location with good network coverage.
How To Fix iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors
To fix these issues, Apple recommends backing up your 4S and re-installing the latest version of iOS 5, which is the recently-updated 5.0.1 build. MacRumors notes that there’s been mixed feedback on whether the update actually fixes SIM-related errors or not, with some still getting ‘Invalid SIM’ errors.

Instead of pushing out a 5.0.2 update for everyone, this type of issue would explain why Apple chose to simple substitute a new build of 5.0.1 for the users that needed it. Existing 5.0.1 users don’t need to update, but any user that does try to download the newest version of iOS 5 from iTunes will receive the new 9A406 build. Apple has iOS 5.1 in developer testing.

Have you experienced a similar SIM error on your iPhone 4S? Did installing the new iOS 5.0.1 build help? Please Install the new iOS 5.0.1 To Fix iPhone 4S SIM Card Errors. So do not worry about the price have you paid to buy yours iPhone 4s .

How to Install Android 4.0.3 on Samsung Galaxy Nexus

How to Install Android 4.0.3  : What version of Android currently your gadgets? Merely a day after Verizon's version of the Galaxy Nexus was gifted with v4.0.2, Google itself is announcing Android 4.0.3, a so-called " incremental release of the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) platform." We're told that the new release includes a variety of optimizations and bug fixes for phones and tablets, as well as a small number of new APIs for developers.
    Samsung Galaxy Nexus
For those curious, the new API level is 15, and some of those new ones include social stream API in Contacts provider, Calendar provider enhancements, newfangled camera capabilities (apps can now check and manage video stabilization and use QVGA resolution profiles where needed) and accessibility refinements (improved content access for screen readers and new status and error reporting for text-to-speech engines). Moreover, we're promised minute improvements in "graphics, database, spell-checking, Bluetooth, and more." Finally, the company makes clear that going forward, it'll be "focusing its partners on Android 4.0.3 as the base version of Ice Cream Sandwich," with rollouts expected for both phones and tablets in "the weeks ahead."

Google has announced that it's rolling out Android 4.0 to GSM Nexus S devices "over the coming month," but it should surprise precisely nobody that Android users have figured out a way to download and manually install the update immediately. Android Central details the steps, which follow the tried-and-true Nexus method of downloading the full ROM image to your desktop, renaming it to "update.zip," transferring it to your device, and then hopping into the bootloader by holding down power and volume up from a powered-off state. That is way How to Install Android 4.0.3

The ROM download comes straight from Google, you'll be pleased to hear. If those instructions sound daunting, Google will get you a simpler over-the-air update soon enough, but if they don't, the full instructions and download links are in the source links below.

As with the update Google is rolling out OTA, this one only applies to GSM variations of the Nexus S, so Sprint users will need to wait a bit longer. This ROM is actually the latest and greatest 4.0.3 version of Ice Cream Sandwich, which Google has said will be the "base version" of Android 4.0 going forward.

How to update time warner cable App on Android

About How to update time warner cable
Time Warner Cable has made good on its promise to Android users — an app optimized for Honeycomb tablets is now available in the Android Market. While this app does offer a program guide and on-the-go DVR management, it is missing a major feature: there's no live TV streaming, unlike Time Warner's iPad app.

Time Warner admitted this would be missing when it announced the app a few weeks ago, but it's still a letdown considering iPad owners have been able to stream live TV since March. As for when Android users might get this feature, Time Warner only says it will come sometime after Ice Cream Sandwich lands on tablets, which Time Warner seems to think will happen in the first few months of 2012. Still, the Android 4.0 source code is already out, so we hope Time Warner isn't just stalling.

How to update time warner cable App on Android
Latest Update time warner cable App for Android : Time Warner Cable released a Honeycomb tablet app a few weeks ago, and now that app is available for Android phones as well. Just like the tablet version, you can check out the Time Warner programming guide and manage your DVR on-the-go, but you still can't stream live TV (unlike the iPad version which launched last March). TWC's blog notes again that this feature will come as soon as manufacturers and OEMs start rolling out Ice Cream Sandwich to phones and tablets.

The company's also is planning to release an update to the iPad-only iOS app in Q1 so iPhone users can get in on the fun. What is still unknown is whether or not the new iPhone version will allow live streaming like the current iPad app does.
