Video Review of HTC EVO 4G

Review Summary

The good: The HTC Evo 4G delivered respectable 4G speeds, and the mobile hot-spot feature lets you connect up to eight devices. The smartphone has a front-facing camera for video chats and also comes with an 8-megapixel camera with HD-video-recording capabilities. The Evo ships with YouTube's HQ video player, Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, and an HDMI port. Other highlights include an extra-large 4.3-inch touch screen and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
The bad: Sprint's 4G network is limited at this time, making the mandatory $10 premium data add-on tough to swallow for anyone outside of the coverage area. The Evo lacks support for Bluetooth voice-activated dialing. The battery drains quickly with 4G.
The bottom line: The HTC Evo 4G is easily Sprint's best smartphone and one of today's top Android devices. It also shows the promise of 4G, which will grow as Sprint's WiMax network expands, but until there's broader 4G coverage, it's hard to agree with the mandatory premium data add-on fee.

Mimo Magic Touch USB-Driven Capacitive Touchscreen Monitor Review

MIMO is releasing a new upgraded version of their 10-inch USB monitor this week, the MIMO Magic Touch, which is universally favored by almost everyone over their resistive brethren to the point that non-capacitive phones are almost extinct and these multi-touch monitors make ideal application screens for chat windows, stock quotes, iTunes or special shortcuts for screen lock or shutdown. There’s the Mimo Magic Touch and the Mimo Magic Touch Deluxe, the latter adding a 2 port mini-USB hub as well as separate AC power adapter to recharge separate devices whenever you want, which is less than 1-inch thick and weighs in at under a pound, its display a cool 1024 x 600 pixel resolution for all your relatively HD needs. You'll need a Windows 7 machine to take advantage of the touch capabilities and even then it's single touch only, both models are available to pre-order now for $300 (Magic Touch) or $330 (Magic Touch Deluxe) with delivery expected before Christmas.

Mimo Magic Touch USB-Driven Capacitive Touchscreen Monitor

As the company known for ushering USB touchscreen monitors into the US market only a few years ago, MimoMonitors.com will once again deliver an industry-first with the mid-December launch of the Mimo Magic Touch 10-inch mini-monitor with the amazing responsiveness of capacitive touch. Capacitive sensing technology has revolutionized the wireless smart phone market; now, the Mimo Magic Touch makes it available as an interface for your computer – far surpassing the responsiveness and overall user experience of traditional point-and-poke resistive touchscreen monitors. The monitor will be available in two models, the standard Mimo Magic Touch which offers a single USB 2.0 connection for both connectivity and power and the Mimo Magic Touch Deluxe, which adds two convenient USB ports to act as a mini-hub to connect other peripherals, along with a separate AC adapter to re-charge or drive high-power devices plugged into the USB hub, when needed. The Mimo Magic Touch is a perfect solution for touchscreen control panels in such applications as point-of-sale (POS) input and entry, corporate videoconferencing, smart home entertainment systems, and industrial/manufacturing controls. It is also ideal for a range of other touchscreen applications in healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, sound/video editing, and many other industries. Furthermore, its versatile design allows for screen removal and independent use from its docking station, as either a tethered USB-powered tablet or mounted display (via the VESA 75 mounting system).

Mimo Magic Touch USB-Driven Capacitive Touchscreen Monitor 2

Like other products in the MimoMonitors.com line of USB mini-monitors, the Mimo Magic Touch also allows users to de-clutter their crowded, primary desktop monitor and offload popular business applications such as web browsers, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Skype, and instant messaging. For personal use, the Mimo Magic Touch can act as a great peripheral monitor for social networking, iTunes and media players, chat windows, online auctions, stock tracking tools, fantasy sports dashboards, and more. Compact and versatile, the Mimo Magic Touch screen is less than 1-inch thick and weighs under 1lb, while featuring a best-in-class 1024 x 600 resolution – offering sharp graphics and clear images for video, multi-media design, and a full range of business needs. It is fully compatible with Windows 7, and can act as a display-only monitor with Windows Vista/XP/2000 and Mac OS. Pre-orders for the first shipment of Mimo Magic Touch 10" mini-monitors are now being accepted at www.mimomonitors.com for delivery before Christmas to US-based customers. The standard Mimo Magic Touch is priced at $299.99 and the Mimo Magic Touch Deluxe is priced at $329.99. Samsung Galaxy Pro SmartPhone Review

Samsung Galaxy Pro
Samsung Galaxy Pro is the newest smart phone with small 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen. This is the only helpful device with a 4 tiered QWERTY  physical keyboard. Galaxy Pro has a 320 x 240-pixel resolution display. I can not guess anything that why samsung choose to make this low resolution screen in this smart technology time. A 2.8" screen is pretty small for an Android handset, How android os is manageable with landscape orientation on such this small screen? Add to that the lack of multi-touch and the Samsung Galaxy Pro display begins to lose appeal. Viewing angles are also pretty poor, as is outdoor visibility, making the display's one redeeming factor being its responsiveness. Like most galaxy S device it has 3.52mm headphone jack on up top as well as a micro USB connectior protected by a sliding cover while on the reverse of the handset is the battery cover complete with a textured finish, 3MP camera and loud speaker. To the right of the phone is a volume rocker and to the left a power button. It is at 10.7mm thin and it is 3.52mm thinner than the BlackBerry Tour and just 1mm thinner than iphone 4.  The Samsung Galaxy Pro looks rather rectangular and rigid, so while similar in form factor to BlackBerrys of late. The phone is entirely plastic, though feels sturdy. With a pleasing aesthetic and overall solid feel finished off with a good keyboard experience.

QWERTY keyboard is for professionals who want the tangible feedback of pushing buttons while typing but it also embraces the navigational and intuitive ease provided by a capacitive touch screen. GALAXY Pro comes equipped with ThinkFree Office, so you can create, open and edit work documents from your mobile - no PC required! You also have access a varied portfolio of business applications from Android Market. A quick glance lets you check all your messages at once with the integrated inbox, while the integrated contact list lets you send a message to friends or work associates. With Android Market access, you can download from thousands of apps available. Make your mobile do what you want it to do!
