Ematic eGlide Steal, 7-inch Capacitive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Powered Tablet Review

Ematic thinks $120 is way too much to pay for an ICS tablet, unveils the $119.95 eGlide Steal and it comes with a 7-inch Capacitive touchscreen although they don’t (uh oh) mention the resolution. It has a 1 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM which should be enough for most games, then 4GB of internal storage and you get a micro-SD slot too for as much storage as you’d like to add. Being a 7-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with a capacitive touchscreen all for only $119 and generally you can have a high quality tablet and you can have it running the world’s most advanced software from Google, but you can’t also have it for less than $200. It also has an integrated three-axis gyroscope along with an accelerometer for motion sensing, connectivity is via Wi-Fi and device supports the playback of up to 1080p HD video on external displays and this device will be available at retailers throughout the United States this week.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich To HTC Vivid For AT&T Users Review

AT&T announced on Thursday that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has begun to roll out to the HTC Vivid, which includes Sense 3.6 and it brings the company’s Beats Audio technology to the 4G LTE handset as well. The Ice Cream Sandwich update will deliver advanced voice and text input to the device, along with Face Unlock, UI improvements and improved email and HTC Vivid is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSDHC support to add an additional 32GB of storage and a 1,620 mAh battery. AT&T also announced plans to bring Android 4.0 to ten additional devices in the coming months and the update for the HTC Vivid is currently available to download via Wi-Fi.



AT&T announced the availability of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) for HTC Vivid customers. After installing the software update, customers can now enjoy the optimized audio experience of Beats by Dr. Dre Audio and new and improved HTC Sense experience. HTC Vivid will be the first U.S. smartphone to receive Ice Cream Sandwich as an update and the first to be issued by a wireless carrier. Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone Review

Verizon announced that it will launch the Galaxy Nexus today, December 15th and the device will sold for an unexpectedly-steep $299 alongside a new two-year contract. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first device running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, making its launch a fairly significant one for the short-term future of the OS and the Galaxy Nexus features a 4.65-inch 720p HD display, 1.2GHz processor, 32 GB of storage and a 1,850 mAh battery.

Acer Iconia Tab A200 Tegra 2 Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet Review

Acer's Iconia Tab A200 has finally received official announcement obtained by Netbook News and the tablet is powered by NVIDIA's 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, the company's latest Android slate comes with 1GB of RAM and boasts a generous 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution.
