HTC One V Specs and Price in UK

The HTC One V is the budget handset in the new One series, with entry level specs: a 3.7-inch 800×480 S-LCD display, 1Ghz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a five megapixel camera.

The phone sits very comfortably in the hand, and so far we prefer it over the larger handsets that have been cropping up as of late. The high quality construction definitely helps in that area too.

HTC One V Image

HTC One V running Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, with HTC’s Sense 4.0 on top. Normally you’d be able to pinch to reveal all your homescreens, but HTC has disabled that on this phone. Graphical transitions on opening folders aren’t the nice, fluid motion we’ve seen on the One X or One S either.

HTC One V Price

If you're in UK and interested in a handset that's reminiscent of the product of a tryst 'twixt Jimmy Hill, Jay Leno and an HTC Legend, then you'll be delighted to hear that the HTC One V is now available to pre-order from the Carphone Warehouse.

It's free if you plump for a two-year deal costing you £20.50 a month and it'll be winging its way to your greasy palms the week of April 23rd, unfortunately without the bottle of bleach necessary to wipe that Jimmy Hill / Jay Leno image from your mind, sorry.
